A fascinate and wonderful adventure of furrowing the savage and imposing Paraguay river. During this fascinate cruise, it is possible enjoy everything that the Paraguay River can offer, always accompanied with entertainments, cultural and scientific conferences, folkloric music, typical shows and our traditional hospitality. According to the chosen itinerary, the passenger could know different ecosystems like the Pantanal, or the Chaco.

The vessel

The ship is divided in five deck, conditioned atmosphere and luxurious cabins, all of them constructed and covered with native wood.

The boat also provide services as swimming pool, cinema, exotic drinks in different bars, as well as exquisite international dishes in the restaurant. 

CHACO ITINERARY

3 Days/ 2 Nights

Day 1 – Friday - Asunción / Cruise

Welcome on board and check in at 18:00. Meeting the crew and guides who will describe the different activities to be developed during the trip. Accommodation. Starting navigation through the Paraguay River at 19:00. Paraguayan Folkloric night during dinner.

Day 2 – Saturday - Cruise / Riacho/ Villa Hayes

At dawn it reaches one of the branches of the Paraguay River. Photo safari in special boats accompanied by the guide who will help the passengers in the interpretation and observation of the great variety of birds and the typical flora of the region. Breakfast on board to continue navigation to the city of Villa Hayes. Visit this city. When returning to the boat, will serve a special dinner, the Captain’s Special Night.

Day 3 - Sunday – Typical Ranch of the Chaco / Asunción

After breakfast, the “Paraguay” will cruise to a typical ranch of the region named “Estancia”. The passenger experience its rural way of life walking in the nature, resting under the trees or other activities as fishing or canoeing. A biologist will join the passengers in the different chosen activities as photo safaris or horse riding. Lunch on board and rest of the afternoon free.

Arrival to Asunción 18:00, check out and disembark.

PANTANAL ITINERARY

6 Days/ 5 Nights

Day 1 - Saturday Concepción* / Cruise.

Welcome on board and check in at 10:30. Meeting the crew and guides who will describe the different activities to be developed during the trip. Lunch and free afternoon. Paraguayan Folkloric night during dinner, with delicious typical dishes.

Day 2 - Sunday – Vallemí.

Breakfast. During the trip to Vallemí, time to enjoy a scientific conference about the two specific eco-regions of Chaco and Pantanal. Arrival to Vallemí, a small town. Time to explore its natural underground caves with unique geologic structures forming characteristic shapes. Return to the ship to enjoy dinner on board.

Day 3 – Monday  Cruise/ Puerto Murtinho/ Ranch.

Early arrival to Puerto Murtinho (Brazil). During navigation, a conference will be presented by the boat guide. The passengers could visit and know a different way of life in a typical ranch in the Chaco, called “Estancia” with activities like walking in the nature, or resting under the trees. A biologist will join the passengers in the different chosen activities as photo safaris or horse riding.

Day 4 – Tuesday  Cruise/ Fuerte Olimpo.

At dawn, arrival and view of the stunning landscape of the Pantanal, a simply beautiful landscape to explore and photograph. Breakfast and visit to the small community of Fuerte Olimpo, the “Fuerte Borbon”, the native’s museum and the Cathedral. Return to the ship to have lunch on board. Before visit to a native’s village named Chamacoco to discover about this interesting local culture. At the end of the day, excursion in expedition boats to observe the crocodiles of the region, called “yacares”. Dinner on board.

Day 5 - Wednesday - Cruise/ Puerto Murtinho/ Puerto Casado.

At dawn, arrival to the Brazilian port called Puerto Murtinho. At 8:00, the passenger will leave to Puerto Casado, having the opportunity to visit its early 19th century train and the town’s museum.

Back to the cruise and in the evening attend Captain’s Special Night.
Day 6 - Thursday - Cruise/ Concepción*.

Breakfast and time to enjoy all the facilities of the ship. Arrival at Concepción around 11:00. Check out and disembark.
